Summary

An Indicator is a calculated series displayed in a separate chart area to describe momentum, trend strength, or other characteristics of historical price behaviour.

Available indicators

The chart includes RSI, MACD, Stochastics, ADX, and Momentum. Select an indicator to show its settings panel and then review the individual guide for the selected study.

Parameters

Indicator parameters control the lookback periods or smoothing windows used in the calculation. Shorter settings generally respond more quickly to recent data, while longer settings produce smoother results and can respond more slowly.

Things to keep in mind

Indicators are derived from historical data and should be reviewed with price, the selected range, trading activity, and relevant fundamentals. They are not automatic buy or sell signals.
