RS2 expands Brazilian footprint as Inter Pag selects joint ACI-RS2 acquiring platform
Inter Pag selects integrated acquiring solution
RS2 plc has announced that Inter Pag, Banco Inter’s merchant-acquiring business in Brazil, has selected the ACI Acquiring Platform, with back-office card-management capabilities powered by RS2.
The solution will be delivered jointly with ACI Worldwide, building on the partnership established between ACI and RS2 in Brazil in 2024. Their combined offering brings together ACI’s acquiring technology and RS2’s card-management capabilities in a single platform designed for the Brazilian payments market.
Platform to support more than 100,000 SMEs
Inter Pag currently serves more than 100,000 small and medium-sized businesses across Brazil, giving the new implementation considerable scale.
For RS2, the agreement marks another deployment of the joint ACI–RS2 solution in Brazil and strengthens its presence in one of Latin America’s largest payments markets.
No financial details or revenue expectations relating to the agreement were disclosed.
ACI-RS2 partnership moves into customer deployment
The announcement follows a joint press release issued by ACI Worldwide and Inter Pag on 21 August 2026.
The development shows how the partnership between RS2 and ACI Worldwide is moving from the launch of their joint Brazilian offering into customer implementation, with Inter Pag adopting the technology to support its merchant-acquiring operations.
RS2 and ACI first announced their joint solution for the Brazilian market in 2024, combining their acquiring and card-management technologies for banks, payment providers and other financial-services businesses.
