Raiffeisen Bank International applies for Malta Stock Exchange membership

Exchange receives membership application

The Malta Stock Exchange has received an application for membership from Raiffeisen Bank International AG, according to Exchange Notice 2534 published on 29 September 2026.

The application relates to the Bank’s Fixed Income & Derivatives department, based at Am Stadtpark 9 in Vienna, Austria.

Application remains subject to approval

The notice was issued in line with MSE Bye-law 3.00.10, which covers notifications relating to applications for Exchange membership.

Following the required notification period, and subject to the necessary regulatory approvals, Raiffeisen Bank International may be admitted as a member of the Exchange.

The Bank would only begin operating as a member once final approval is granted by the MSE Board in accordance with Bye-law 3.00.11.

Potential new international member

If approved, Raiffeisen Bank International would become the second foreign bank to join the Malta Stock Exchange’s membership framework, following Hypo-Bank Burgenland Aktiengesellschaft.
