Multitude Bank Appoints Alex Rose as Operations Chief

MFSA approves senior appointment

Multitude Bank plc has confirmed the appointment of Alex Rose as its new Chief Operations Officer following approval from the Malta Financial Services Authority.

The bank received confirmation of the regulatory approval on 3 August 2026. Rose officially assumed the position with effect from 31 July 2026.

His appointment was first disclosed by Multitude Bank on 29 April 2026 as part of a wider announcement concerning changes to its senior-management team. At that stage, the appointment remained subject to approval by the MFSA.

Rose joins the senior-management team

As Chief Operations Officer, Rose joins the team responsible for directing the bank’s principal activities and supporting its continued development.

Multitude Bank’s senior management is led by Chief Executive Officer Antti Kumpulainen and Deputy CEO Dario Azzopardi. The team also includes Chief Financial Officer Kenneth Zammit, Chief Banking Officer Jakub Savara, Chief Investment Officer Sara Codreanu and Chief Risk Officer Louie Scicluna.

The company’s official website has been updated to identify Rose as the bank’s Chief Operations Officer.

Supporting Multitude Bank’s European activities

Multitude Bank is a Malta-licensed credit institution and forms part of Multitude AG. It provides digital banking services, including savings and personal-lending products, through a number of brands.

Operating under a European banking licence, the institution can provide services from Malta across various European Economic Area jurisdictions. Eligible deposits are covered by Malta’s Depositor Compensation Scheme, subject to its applicable terms.

The regulatory approval completes the appointment process and formally places the management of the bank’s operational functions under Rose’s leadership.
