Juel Group reports €1.08 million first-half loss
Revenue remains broadly stable
Juel Group plc approved its consolidated interim financial statements for the six months ended 30 June 2026, reporting revenue of approximately €13.04 million, compared with €13.15 million in the same period last year.
Hotel operations generated €3.49 million in revenue, while property-development activities contributed approximately €9.54 million.
Profitability declines
Gross profit fell to around €2.15 million, from €5.42 million a year earlier, while operating profit dropped to approximately €231,500 from €3.64 million.
The Group’s share of profit from equity-accounted investees increased to €1.57 million, although this was not enough to offset the weaker operating performance and other costs.
Juel Group consequently recorded a loss before tax of €1.14 million, compared with a profit of €1.34 million in the first half of 2025.
The loss for the period stood at approximately €1.08 million, reversing a €594,393 profit reported a year earlier.
No interim dividend declared
The directors did not recommend the payment of an interim dividend.
The results show a notable deterioration in profitability despite revenue remaining relatively stable. Juel Group’s property-development and hospitality activities continue to play a central role in its performance, while cash generation and operating profitability remain particularly relevant for bondholders.
