Hili Ventures Reports €69.6m Pre-Tax Profit as Revenue Tops €1.1bn
Revenue Exceeds €1.1 Billion Amid Continued Growth
Hili Ventures reported profit before tax of €69.6 million for 2025, supported by revenue growth across its diversified portfolio of food service, retail, technology and real estate businesses.
The Malta-based group generated revenue of €1.17 billion during the year, up 7.6% from 2024. Total assets exceeded €1.2 billion, while shareholders’ equity increased by almost 6% to just under €300 million, according to the company’s annual results.
Diversified Portfolio Supports Resilience
The figures suggest continued expansion despite a challenging operating environment marked by persistent inflationary pressures and weaker consumer demand across parts of Europe. Hili Ventures’ portfolio spans multiple sectors and geographies, providing a degree of earnings diversification that has helped support growth.
Strategic Expansion and Investments
Among the year’s developments, Premier Capital opened its 200th McDonald’s restaurant across six markets, while iSpot expanded to 51 outlets in Poland. The group also acquired a stake in Bank of Valletta, increasing its exposure to Malta’s financial sector.
The results underline the resilience of large Maltese corporate groups with significant overseas operations. For investors, the balance sheet remains a key point of interest. Asset growth, rising equity and continued profitability provide additional capacity for future investment while maintaining financial flexibility.
Outlook Focused on Further Growth
Looking ahead, the group plans further expansion in both food service and technology retail, while increasing its focus on capital allocation and portfolio development.
