G2G Reports €260,863 Profit as Gold Fair-Value Gain Reaches €2.24 Million
Company returns to profit in 2025
G2G plc reported a profit of €260,863 for the year ended 31 December 2025, reversing a loss of €143,501 recorded in the previous year.
The Company, whose activities focus on issuing notes and managing the related assets and funds, approved its 2025 financial statements on 24 August 2026.
Gold valuation boosts results
A key contributor to the year’s performance was a €2.24 million net fair-value gain on gold, up from €1.56 million in 2024.
This was partly offset by a €1.95 million negative fair-value movement on financial instruments measured at fair value through profit or loss. Interest income amounted to €119,976, while finance costs totalled €101,742.
Assets increase as equity turns positive
G2G’s total assets rose to €7.41 million, with its investment in gold accounting for €7.08 million of that amount.
Total equity improved to €72,418, compared with negative equity of €188,445 at the end of 2024.
The Company also disclosed that an agreement signed on 15 January 2026 extended its usufruct arrangement over gold until May 2028, while the maturity of its asset-backed notes programme was extended to 30 April 2028.
