Excel Finance provides update on shareholder restructuring discussions

Company responds to media reports

Excel Finance plc has issued an update following recent media reports about the shareholders of the Excel Group.

In its announcement dated 10 October 2026, the Company said it had contacted its ultimate beneficial owners to get more information about the situation.

Excel Finance confirmed that discussions are taking place between shareholders over possible changes to the Group’s ownership structure.

Discussions over changes in shareholdings

According to the Company, the discussions are at an advanced stage and are aimed at reorganising the shareholdings within the Excel Group.

The proposed changes involve CTJ Holdings Limited, Magius Limited, Margius Limited and Jogius Limited, with DTX Holdings Limited’s shareholding expected to be redistributed among the relevant shareholders.

However, no final agreement has been reached, and the changes still need to be formally agreed upon and signed by the parties involved.

No impact on business operations

Excel Finance confirmed that the discussions only concern the shareholders and will not affect the Group’s daily operations.

The Company said that its businesses and ongoing projects are continuing as normal, and that it remains able to meet its financial and contractual obligations.

Management will also continue working on the Group’s existing projects and commitments.

Excel Finance said that it will provide another update once the discussions are concluded and further details are available.
