Catena Media reports 12% first-half revenue growth as adjusted EBITDA rises 70%
First-half revenue rises as Q2 performance softens
Catena Media plc reported revenue of €21.8 million for the first half of 2026, up 12% from the corresponding period a year earlier.
The company published its interim report CAM195, covering January to June 2026, through the Malta Stock Exchange’s OAM on 11 August 2026 at 18:12.
Adjusted EBITDA for the six-month period reached €3.9 million, representing a 70% year-on-year increase.
Q2 revenue slips 1%
The second quarter delivered more subdued results, with revenue falling 1% year on year to €9.5 million.
Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter stood at €1.2 million, down 11% compared with the same period in 2025.
The figures indicate that the stronger first-half performance was concentrated in the first quarter, when both revenue and adjusted EBITDA were higher than in Q2.
Interim report adds to busy day of announcements
Catena Media’s interim results provide investors with an updated view of the company’s operating performance as it continues to implement strategic and operational changes.
The report was released on the same evening that the company announced a voluntary tender offer for its hybrid capital securities and a new share buyback programme.
Together, the announcements combined an update on financial performance with further measures affecting the company’s capital structure.
